neighborhoods
below are the most basic outlines of each neighborhood in located hell. each neighborhood has it's own spooky lore attached to it, which you can find on our lore page.
bluff's end
known as a lively, working class neighborhood on the edge of town - one side edged by forest, one by the cliffs they're named for. known for it's down to eath charm, it's a popular spot for tourist looking for a little more authencicity. the atmosphere here is bustling, but warm. real estate is a mix of small family homes, modest row houses, renovated lofts, and walk up apartments, making it comfortable for both the middle and lower class.

downtown
at the heart of hell lies downtown - though arguably more geared toward tourist these days. here you'll find town center (which host most town events), community buildings, and a number of tourist geared businesses. the birthplace of town - original victorians still stand, repurposed largely into various businesses nowadays. downtown is also home to the college campus, giving the area that particular college town charm.

the elms
ocean front views and old money elegance are the cornerstone of the elms where you'll find all of hell's most upscale businesses. home to the town's elite, the area's vibe is artisan, imported, and costal charm. at the center of the area is the elm's country club - a sprawling estate that host many luxury events throughout the year. homes here range from grand estates, sprawling mansions, to smaller luxury homes.

hell forest
this dense forest hides a number of secrets - from numerous paths, to the small naturally formed lake, all the way to rumors that local cryptids are said to hide here. has paths for those looking for just a casual walk through nature or those who want an intense hike through the wilderness - or if you're brave leave the path behind entirely and really see what's lurking in the forest. the area houses a few cabins throughout, a couple outbuildings and a ranger station, spots meant for camping (though many chose to camp in spots of their own choosing), and maybe more.

hellport
tucked against the coastline, hellport is home to local fishermen, boat rentals, and the harbor. all along the shoreline you'll see fishing boats (both small family owned companies and larger corporations), rusting docks, and the local house boaters. nothing in hellport has been updated to please the tourist - the area is a bit aged, paint weathered, but sturdy and taken care of.

shady canyon
known for being the most eccentric area in town, shady canyon is a beacon for those looking for something special. homes vary from cozy cottages, to modern tiny homes, and repurposed warehouses turned into apartments. locals and tourist alike are drawn to either the artistic vibe of the area or the more ecoconcious mindset many here have. creatives, homesteaders, and young families alike call the area home.
